These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the TavaSIS platform (“Platform”), operated by ZYT Pte. Ltd., a company incorporated in Singapore (“ZYT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By creating an account or accessing the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
These Terms apply to all users of the Platform, including tourism businesses (“Clients”), sustainability consultants and consulting firms (“Consultants”), and any other authorised users.
TavaSIS is a certification workflow management platform that helps tourism businesses and their consultants manage the documentation and evidence process for GSTC (Global Sustainable Tourism Council) sustainability certification.
Important limitation: TavaSIS is a workflow and documentation management tool. It does not certify tourism businesses. Certification is conducted exclusively by GSTC-accredited Certification Bodies (“CBs”), which are independent of ZYT and TavaSIS. The Platform helps organise and structure documentation; whether that documentation meets a CB's assessment requirements is determined solely by the CB through their independent audit process. TavaSIS does not guarantee certification outcomes.
The Platform supports the following account roles:
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must not share your account with others or allow unauthorised access. You must notify us immediately at service@tavasis.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
You must be at least 18 years old and have the authority to bind your organisation (if registering on behalf of a business) to use the Platform.
A free tier covering the Readiness Stage is available to tourism businesses without a subscription. Features available under the free tier are limited and described on the Platform. ZYT reserves the right to modify or discontinue the free tier at any time with reasonable notice.
The relationship between a Consultant and their Client is independent of ZYT. ZYT is not a party to any consulting engagement, certification process, or professional service agreement between a Consultant and a Client. Consultants are independent practitioners and not employees or agents of ZYT.
By using the Platform as a Consultant, you represent that you have the necessary qualifications, expertise, and authorisations to provide sustainability consulting services to your Clients and to use the Platform for that purpose.
You agree not to:
You retain ownership of all content, documents, and data you upload to the Platform (“Your Content”). By uploading content, you grant ZYT a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of operating the Platform and providing services to you.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legitimacy of all content you submit through the Platform, including evidence submitted in support of certification workflows.
The Platform includes AI-assisted features that generate guidance notes and draft content at the performance indicator level. AI-generated content is provided as a drafting aid only. It must be reviewed, verified, and validated by your Consultant before use. ZYT makes no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content for any specific certification requirement. CB assessors make their own independent determinations.
The GSTC standards and criteria incorporated into the Platform are the intellectual property of the Global Sustainable Tourism Council. Their inclusion in TavaSIS is subject to applicable intellectual property arrangements. Use of the Platform does not confer any rights over GSTC intellectual property.
All software, design, workflows, features, and original content on the Platform (excluding Your Content and GSTC standards) are owned by or licensed to ZYT Pte. Ltd. and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without prior written consent from ZYT.
Paid subscription plans are described on the Platform. By subscribing, you agree to pay the applicable fees. All fees are stated in the currency displayed at checkout and are exclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annual, as selected). Payment is processed through our payment provider. You authorise recurring charges to your nominated payment method.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial periods unless required by applicable law.
ZYT reserves the right to change subscription prices with at least 30 days' written notice. Continued use of the Platform after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.
ZYT will use reasonable efforts to maintain Platform availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may:

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Singapore law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ZYT Pte. Ltd. and its directors, officers, and employees from any claims, losses, damages, or costs (including legal fees) arising from:
ZYT may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, engage in conduct that harms the Platform or other users, or fail to pay applicable fees. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting service@tavasis.com. On termination, your access to the Platform ceases. Data retention on termination is governed by the Privacy Policy.
ZYT may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by a notice on the Platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be referred to mediation. If mediation fails, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
